Hi;

The Phillips family of Jamaica are looking for the descendants of Russell Phillips, a qualified Teacher who migrated from Jamaica, to San Andros Island. Russell Phillips got married in Panama (then a part of the Spanish country of Columbia) and his three sons and one daughter were born there. His nephews, Simeon, Philemon and Uriah, also migrated from Jamaica to Panama. Uriah returned to Jamaica, while Simeon and Philemon moved on the Costa Rica and produced families there.

Over the years, we have met some of the descendants of Rusell Phillips' nepheww, Philemon Phillips who live in Panama, Costa Rica, and Florida, USA, who visited Manchester, Jamaica, in search of (1) their genealogy; (2)info. on the Phillips Family of Davyton and Blue Mountain Districts, Manchester, Jamaica; and (3) information on the origins of the Ortanique fruit and its export to Panama.

Please feel free to correspond with me on GenForum. I do not speak Spanish.

Sincerely
Bev.
