Greatgrandmother Julia Amat - from Martinique?
Posted by: Mayra Peters-Quintero (ID *****5764) Date: March 05, 2005 at 12:39:34

I am seeking info on both of my grandmother's parents. My grandmother reports that her mother was from Martinique and was named Julia Amat, her grandmother was named Delfina. My mother, Josefina Winson de Quintero, was born Nov. 1914 in Panama City. She says her father was an American in Panama working on the canal RR (see previous message) and was never married to her mother. Anyone have ideas on how to find more info? Thanks very much! Mayra
