Three female CARPENTERs
Hillary McKinley Carpenter, Jr. was in the US Army during WWII.He was stationed at Panama where he fell in love with and married a woman named "Estella."They had two daughters...the youngest named Hilda Marie...whether born in Panama or not I don't know...but they went to Ohio, then Virginia. "Race" problems happened when they were stationed in Virginia in the early 1940's, so eventually they divorced and Estella returned to Panama with her two daughters. We've lost all track of them, but older family members remember Estella as a very "sweet woman" and her two daughters as "adorable."
Junior Carpenter remarried and had 4 children with his last wife.He died Dec. 2002 in Las Vegas, NV.
Junior's mother was a MEGLEY of NY and this name has been traced to 1700's.
