Hi,

May I suggest you check out http://www.czimages.com and select "Links" and scan down to "Canal Zone Vital Statistics." There are also many photos on this website from the era of the building of the Panama Canal, not just of the construction but some of the families who lived there. Well worth a look.

Also, many Panama Canal records are kept by NARA so take a look at www.nara.gov to see if there are employment and death records available.
