Palumbos settling in Akron, Ohio 1920

I'm beginning to research Mom's (Mary) side of my family. My grandparents Rose and Ralph Palumbo emigrated in 1920, from Giungano (sp?) near Paestum. They settled in Akron, OH.
Children: Mary,(oldest, b1920) Delores, Frances, Mendes, Louis and Richard.

Any help on earlier family ties is appreciated.
