It seems that you have already used the services of the Swenson Center. I'm not exactly certain what you don't know about this family, but if you want to search the Swedish parish records online at the fee-based Genline site, you can do that. Parish records are the main source of genealogical information in Swedish research.

http://www.genline.com

(Kalmlass is not a parish name. There is no Swedish place name with that spelling.)

This is one record they probably provided. Note the spellings used in Sweden aren't the same spellings you are using here.

Emibas CD (made from registrations in the Swedish parish to go to a foreign country)

Palmqvist, Oskar Emil
Dräng = farmhand. (unmarried man)

b. 5/29/1869 in Pelarne (Pelarne is the parish.), Kalmar län (Län = county.) (Småland is the province.)

Emigrated 3/3/1891
from Grönkullen Bastefall (a smaller place in Pelarne parish), Pelarne (the parish), Kalmar län (the county) (Småland = the province name)
to Amerika

Emibas migration file ID: Pelarne H (H is the code for Kalmar county) 1891 001

The Swenson Center also used this record, apparently.

Emihamn database

Emihamn was made from registrations with Swedish port police before leaving Sweden. (Not all Swedes left through a Swedish port.) He may have ended up in Moline quite soon, and I assume that the Swenson Center checked their Swedish American church records in order to tell you that he ended up in Moline quite soon, but his destination on this record was New York.

I know she is the right person since I found the family in the years 1884-1895 on Genline.

This is the specific Genline page.

s. Oskar Emil Palmqvist, born 29 May 1869 in Pelarne, to North America in 1891, some comments I can't read well

d. Anna Maria, born 14 October 1872 in Pelarne, to North America on an unclear date in 1893 (The date looks different from Emibas. It might be 23 January. The Emibas date might have been made from the moving out records, which might be even messier or might be easier to read.)

d. Johanna Amalia (probably your Hannah), born 16 August??? 1875 in Pelarne

This seems to be the death record of the father, whose last name was Palm and not Palmqvist. (Swedes loved to change names and your Palmqvist must have done so.)

This page covers 1871-1875 and I see your "John" leaving to go to another part of the parish.

GID # 134.12.14900

He was Johan Fredrik and was born 15 May 1858 in Pelarne. He left his family's household to go to page 63 (in the same parish) in 1873.

Johan Fredrik is listed on the following page as gossen (the boy) Johan Fredrik Palm. So far only your Oskar Emil used Palmqvist.

GID # 134.12.21100

However, by the time your "John" emigrated, he was also using Palmqvist.

You might have all of that already from your research at the Swenson Center.

Keep searching as I did in the Swedish parish records and you should be able to reconstruct this family and find more about them and any ancestors and/or descendants in Sweden.
