I am looking for a James Earl Palmiter who would be approximately 60 years old and who once live in or visited in Roanoke Virginia in Aug. of 1949. He was saved from drowning by my landlord who was a police officer at the time. Think there was a sister approx. 1yrs. old with him. The incident happened on or about Aug. 24 or 25 1949. Would appreciate any information.
