Dear Cousin Duane,
I have indeed heard of these people. They are my people too. I am Martha's youngest daughter. My sister Janet Brecht and I are also just starting to research the Palmiters. Unfortunately, we do not have much more info than you have although we do have most of the birth, death and marraige dates of the aunts and uncles and of course grandma and grandpa. We also have some of the census records and a copy of grandma and grandpa's marriage certificate. There is also a one page lineage list, (evidently mom had given this info to Jan to type up) which states -Henry S. Palmiter (grandfather), Springville, PA, Samuel Palmiter (great grandfather), Louise Thomas (great grandmother),Springville, PA, John Thomas (gg grandfather), Pearl Johnson (grandmother),Factoryville, PA, Clinton Johnson(great grandfather), John Johnson (gg grandfather), Elizabeth Kennedy (gg grandmother), Martha Quick (great grandmother), Nicholson, Pa, Darius Quick (gg grandfather), and Jane Smead (gg grandmother), Nicholson, PA. As I just found this paper a month ago, I have not yet had the opportunity to follow through on this research.
We also have a few photos, one is of grandma when she was a very young girl, maybe 5 or 6 years old. We would be more than happy to share all of this with you and anything else that comes our way.
