We have a Joseph Palmisano in our family, he was my Grandmother's brother but I don't have any information on him..yet. Our family was mostly located in New Orleans so this is a long shot. Our Joseph was married to Mabel Derocher and had parents Dominic Palmisano and Angelina Mumfry. Let me know if any of these names sound familiar and Good Luck.
