William the naylor B 07 Feb 1583, DID NOT marry Mary Taine who came over on board the Anne, William Peirce master. It arrived in Aug 1623. She was William's daughter's, child's nanny and lived in the home of william the elder famialy. Engaged but not yet marriage to Elizabeth Hodgkins William the younger, B 1606, got Miss Taine pregnent, but married Miss Hodgkins on 27 Mar. 1634, before the child was born. William the elder passed of his sons bastard child, William B 27 Jun 1634, as his oun claiming, to the church elders, that his aling wife had been the child's mother. Shortly thereafter this child and Miss Taine were sent to live with William the elders best friend Robert Paddock who latter married Miss Taine, raised william as an adopted member of his family, So,now you have the rest of the story!
