Just a brief synopsis to the few who may not be aware of our proud heritage.
The Pallotta name means ball as in musket balls. Our original ancestors were makers of lead pellets for armaments.
The Pallotta name was enobled during the twelth century. They were counts in Lamarche,Molise/Abruzzi and Sicily.
We have four cardinals and to my understanding one saint (I am actually trying to confirm this one.) and her name was Anna. I am trying to research the complete history so if any of you have any info please share.
By the way we have an amazing blazon of arms (family Crest)
