Bob, I have some info that might help.

Lt. Col. William Palfrey was married to Susanna Cazneau, who was born 8/8/1740. He married her 2/1/1765. Of their marriage were born eight children, only three surviving to childhood. The three children were William, a clerk who resided in Boston and worked in a counting-house. He died in 1820. A daughter, Susan, married William Lee, who was Thomas Jefferson's Counsel situated in Bordeaux, France for 14 yrs. Susan died in 1822 in Schooler's Mountain, NJ. The third child, John Palfrey was born in Boston, 10/15/1768. He married Mary Sturgis Gorham, daughter of Sturgis & Phoebe Taylor Gorham in Boston 5/3/1795. Mary was born 7/26/1772.

Susanna Cazneau was the daughter of Mary (Scott) and Peace (Paix) Cazneau, son of Margaret (Germain) who married Paix Cazneau, a fellow emigrant, at the French settlement of Oxford, MA and died at Wrentham, MA April, 1769 at age 97.

After William Palfrey died, Susanna remarried a Constant Freeman in 1792. She was then 52 yrs of age. She had no children by him and died July 20, 1793.

I have additional info on William Palfrey (husband) and John Palfrey (son) is you need it.

Hope this helps!
