Thank you Jan.
Very nice of you but I have the death certificates for both John and Elizabeth and all the census. John was still married when in the Workhouse where he died and Elizabeth died 2 years later.I am interested in his birthplace as I know she was Elizabeth Cox and born in Beeston.Their daughter Elizabeth was born in the Nottingham area as shown in 1851 census. With regard to John Palfree and Sarah Jane,I have all the census from 1851 regarding Sarah Jane and all until 1891 for John.Sarah Jane was a widow in 1901, and was living with her widowed mother in 1851,but cannot find birth registration for her or death for her father who was George Turner and a butler[from where?]I also have the marriage certificate for Sarah Jane and John.
Thank you for taking the time to reply and research.
These are my gt and gt gt grandparents.
Happy New Year
Sheila
