Palen or Paley Marr to Baldwin, Balding

My ancestor, Daniel Baldwin (or Balding) of Dutchess county New York, was reportedly married to a Ms. Paley. In search of Paley's in this area, I've come across Palen families that lead me to believe the family may have Palen. Another candidate is the "Per Lee" family.

Daniel Baldwin was born between 1740-1770, and believed to have a brother Joel. He eventually purchased property between 1820-1835 in La Porte county, Indiana, but we haven't proven whether he actually lived there or not. Daniel had a son, Gilbert, who is my ancestor.

If this sounds familiar to any Palen researchers, I would love to hear from you.
