Hi Pat, It is hard to say whether or not your husband's biological grandfather was a Palcic without any more information. If you look at the church or census records for the towns in PA that you mention (of course, you would need the counties for the census), you might find names that are phonetically similar to the ones you gave to help "fill in the blanks". If you have not done this, I would suggest trying that approach. If you have done this and exhausted all other avenues, then you would need to go to the source of information where you got the leads. If by chance the man was a Palcic, there is a whole branch of Croatian Palcics that live in PA and NJ. Daniel Palcic and I have had little luck in making a connection with this group.
