Hello. I am seeking information about the Pakistani/Indian soldiers who came from the Punjab - Lahore,Peshawer and Kohat etc. They were part of the Royal Indian Army Service Corps and there were 3000 of them who came with mules. In 1939 they travelled to France to fight the Germans and then came to the UK after Dunkirk. I have lots of information from army records about their 3 to 4 years in the UK but I would love to hear from anyone who is descended from them or knew of them. I am especially interested in any information about those who spent time in Cornwall and in particular one called Jemal Khan - or similar name. Thank you.
