Is Pakistan bereft of Good-Hearted People?
Through this forum and numerous other channels I have repeatedly appealed to many Pakistanis to help and give me e-contact of a person who either hails from or lives in Miani (Near Bhera). Nobody has responded with the desired information despite my best efforts for over an year(even though there have been numerous generous offers of receiving me as a guest whenever I choose to visit Pakistan) . As people across the border know, it is not easy to plan and visit the other side.
My ancestors hailed from Miani. They lived there for perhaps thousands of years, generation after generation. The irony of weird mix of Politics & Religion which resulted in partition of India & Pakistan is that there are millions of people like me on either side who can not even get information about the watan (birthplace) of their ancestors. So much for human rights.
