Hi Faz,
My name is Rizwan Minhas, I'm the older brother of Rehela who lives in Glasgow. I put together our family tree dating back to Rai Lakoo (1690). I would be interested if you could look at the tree and see if you can open a connection to your family in Darman. I am sure you are the same branch as us.
We were in the logging business in Jammu and one of our joint ancestors by the name of Miah Hashim Minhas travelled from Jammu to Sialkot (around 1810) to set up a collection depot for logs that were sent down river from Jammu. The only reason we came to Sialkot was because of the river.
