Hello. I'm looking for anyone who may be related to Yunus Shah bin Mahmood Shah. He is my grandfather's brother. They came to Singapore around 1930-1950s and served in the police force. They were from Mansehra-Hazara, Pakistan. (Can anyone tell me more about the place?)
My grandfather stayed and passed away here but his brother caca Yunus Shah returned to Pakistan with his wife and four children in 1972. Two of them are named Fauziah and Muhammad Shah. They were born in Singapore and used to stay at Mt. Vernon Police quarters.
My grandfather had 2 more siblings beside caca Yunus. They are Muslim Shah and Bibi Aishah.
If anyone has any information regarding this, pls do let me know.
If you have family/relatives who ever came to Singapore and had similar work, pls do let me know too. I found out that many Pakistani served in the Singapore police force before Singapore's independence, some stayed and some went home.
