Farmed in Lee County on original land patented from President Tyler in 1841 to Uncle David McCullough. Member Presbyterian Church; resided at Donnellson, Iowa. William had a sister, Nancy B. Paisley, who never married.
Linnie F. Pease Paisley was born in Iowa in Dec 1865, the daughter of Sarah J. Pease (b. 1833 in Pennsylvania) .
William Paisley was from the William Paisley and Deliverance Paine branch of the family of Guilford Co., NC.
