Judy: My question is about Dicey Pair and John Joseph Winkles. On 12 Sept, 2007, you wrote on the Stalnaker Family Gen Forum (msg 504):

In 1889, James c's daughters named Disey/Dicy PAIR married John Joseph WINKLES in Carrol County, Georgia.
Today one of John Joseph WINKLES ()wife Disey PAIR) descendantsa mailed me a copy of the old WINKLES Famly Bible. there is an entry listed: "Benajah Green Stalnaker born May 4, 1820.

I am a descendant of John Joseph WINKLES senior through his eldest son, William J. WINKLES. There is a son John Joseph WINKLES, Junior. However, despite extensive research, we do not have any information on a second marriage for either of these men and no record of a PAIR OR PARR in our family tree.

I am currently working on the connections between the Stalnakers and Winkles.

I would dearly love to have a copy of the WINKLES family bible and to know, if possible, who your informant is.

Thanks so much,

Theo (2n great granddaugher of John Joseph Winkles senion)
