A possible connection here.My great grandfather was James William Painter/Paynter, born 1864 in Monroe County, MO.I know he had two brothers, Oscar and John C. but am not sure about sisters. He married Annie Mary Turnbough (b. 1873).James William's eldest son, William Corley, was possibly born inor near Hanibal, MO.James William moved his family to Saskatchewan, Canada in 1903.
Let me know what you think.
