Payne-Truly 1800 Marriage certificate Fayette Co., MS

Source: Deed Record A-1, 1798-1818, page 24, Chancery clerk's Office, Jefferson Co. Courthouse, Fayette, Mississippi. Silas Payne to Eliz Truly Marriage certificate registered the Fourth day of April one thousand Eight hundred--I do hereby certify that on the 6th day of Feruary instant, I solemnized the marriage of Silas Payne and Elizabeth Truly--agreeable to Law. given under my hand this 19th February 1800 signed Mordecai Throckmorton, J.P.
This was from a page out of MISSISSIPPI RIVER ROUTES submitted by Mary Lois S. Ragland some years ago.
I have always wondered if Silas might have been related to my Edward Paine who lived in the same area of Mississippi at that time.
