I have Pains in my Family History. I do not know much about them but they are a direct line.
1. James PAIN (possibly from Sussex) had a wife named Mary.
They had 2 children I know of. James & Mary.
2. Mary PAIN b. 1747 in Hastings, SUSSEX. Died April 1826 in Winchelsea, Sussex. Married John JENKINS in 1770 in Winchelsea.
3. James PAIN b 1748, Hastings, SUSSEX.
