Looking for information on Thomas Payne (Paine) b. December 17, 1833 in England and d. ABT. December 1907. I know he came to America in 1854. He was married to Zimmah Turner, I don't know if Zimmah is her acutal name or a knick name and she was b. May 1866 in England and she and Thomas Payne (Paine) were married on October 12, 1887. I don't know if they were married over in England or not, I know that Thomas's parents John and Francis Payne (Paine) came over to America in 1856 and I think Francis maiden name is Ealing but I don't know for sure. I have also come across notes that say that Thomas Payne (Paine) might have married his brothers widow when he came over to America, why I don't know, and if that is actually true, I don't know. As you can see I have some information but there are some blanks that could definately be filled in. If anyone has any information or would be willing to lookin up this information for me for free and send it to me that would be a great help, my husband will be back from deployment soon and I really want to give him a family tree book that is completely filled out. Again any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
