Dolores,

I am one of a myriad of Pages searching for the ancestors of the John Page d. 1804 in Laurens Co. S.C. He had 7 children and the oldest, a dau. Elizabeth told the 1850 census that she was born in VA in 1776. The eldest son, William told the census that he was born in N.C.,1778. Other than that the only known occurance was a recorded sale of a crop and other items at a sale in 1794 in Laurens Co. I have looked extensively at the NC Pages from Edgecomb and Pitt Co's and have run into nothing but dead ends(no pun intended). I am a resident of the Shen. Valley of VA and hope to travel to Goochland Co and review your work held in their library. I'm 80 and this search has been going on for 30 years--we Pages are persistant.ha.
