PAGAN - Moffat, Wamphray Parishes, Dumfriesshire

I am seeking information regarding the following PAGAN families.

a) John Pagan (ca 1802) & Margaret Carruthers (ca 1807) who worked the Brackenside (Breconside) Farm in Moffat. They and their family emigrated to New Zealand approx 1860 to Otago and settled in the Clutha region. They were preceded in 1857/8 by their son-in-law William Dalgliesh (Dalgleish) (ex Eskdalemuir parish) who had married one of their daughters.

b) Archibald Pagan (ca 1790) & Margaret Blacklock (ca 1800) who lived at Holmend, Moffat. One of their daughters, Mary, married James Beattie Dalgleish, a brother to the William mentioned above, and they emigrated to NZ about 1860. James and Mary headed into the Waitaki River valley of northern Otago, north of Oamaru. It is believed that one of Mary's brothers, Archibald, travelled with them or independently about the same time, and he is believed to have married a Jane Robertson and settled in Otago's Shag Valley. It is speculated that another brother (possibly a cousin), Thomas, arrived in NZ 1858, married a Caroline Beal, and may have for a time worked in the Waikouaiti District before moving north to the Waitaki River valley if not Oamaru itself.

c) William Pagan (ca 1800) & Mary Marchbank (ca 1798) who worked the Oakridge (Aikrig) Farm in Moffat not far from the above Brackenside Farm. Also William's brother Thomas Pagan (ca 1794) & his wife Ann Johnstone (ca 1798) who raised their family on the same farm, before they retired to live in Holmend, same parish.

d) John Pagan (ca 1795-1799) & (1) Mary Hamilton (ca 1798) & (2) Elizabeth McCulloch (ca 1814) of Wamphray. Seeking information particularly on John's roots.

e) Does anyone have a William Pagan (or Paggon) (say 1758, of Moffat?) & Betty Ferguson (or Elizebeth Ferguison) (b 1763 Eskdalemuir) in their tree?

f) Does anyone know of a John Pagan & Elizabeth Dalgliesh (Dalgleish) marriage/family vicinity 1850? Possibly Hoddam Parish?
