Hi, and thanks. Looks like we are cousins. I have some more info, but have a gap somewhere. I think that Earl Pafford was spelled Erle Pafford, could be wrong about that. I have heard some of the lineage that you provided, but couldn't remember most of it. My dad was Robert Erle Pafford (b.1934-d.1991) from Jackson, TN, son of Fonville Pafford and Eunice Gooch White Pafford. Fonville had a brother, Malcolm, who I believe is still alive in Jackson. We never heard from him more than twice in our lives. He kept to himself. And I think that Fonville was the son of Erle Pafford. Not sure, as granddad passed away in 1992. And I have a pocket watch that belonged to Aubry Pafford that I inherited after dad's death in 1991. Do you know which brother, Erle, Aubry or Royal Ray worked for the railroad? I have a pencil drawing from the one that is my greatgrandfather. Dad said that he worked for the railroads. You're Eva Louise's granddaughter? I remember my dad and mom visiting her yrs ago. I have an interesting story that may not be entirely true. I remember during one visit with someone back in the early or mid 70's, someone telling my family that James Pafford from England had a brother, and that they both left England together. During the trip, they stopped over at Trinidad (or some island starting with "T", as I was youngish at the time and don't remember.) The brother decided to stay in Trinidad and the other brother, James, left for America. I had also heard that there was a family member that served during the Revolutionary War. Not sure who that was, either. Thanks for so much information that I had either forgotten or had never known. If you hear more, please drop me an email.
