I have over 30,000 names in Paf 2.31 which is nearly as antique. Do you have the manuals that came with the program? GEDCOM files are created through a separate program called Genealogical Information Exchange. If your program was loaded normally it will be found in the DOS path C:\PAF\GIE. Since you are probably trying to access this through Windows, I am not sure what your procedure will be to find the program.

PAF version 2 is too large to operate properly in Windows. I am guessing that if you are using it successfully, you are either able to boot up yout computer on Dos only to run PAF and switch to Windows when you wish to use the internet. Either that or you are using PAF in an older computer. I have mine installed in an old 386 and transfer files from it to the Pentium via diskette for insertion in e-mails.
