Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I suggest that, if you have similar information to that found in the Ancestral File, but that it is of superior quality, you use PAF 4.0.x to contribute that information to the Pedigree Resource File. That file has the advantages that (1) No one else can change it and (2) it will display your Notes and Source Citations, if you include them. Personally, I have submitted hundreds of corrections to the AF and am now preparing my databases for contribution to the Pedigree Resource File.
