Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Richard,
Can you check the file in a different copy of PAF (e.g. at a FHC)? Your copy of PAF may have been damaged (e.g. by an electrical spike).

Or the data file may be damaged. I consider this less likely, but what happens if you run Check/Repair in PAF a few times?

I think it has to be either the software or the data that has been damaged. The suggestions above will help you determine which it is.
