How to delete a family without replacing with UNKNOWN

I posted the correct parents and children in my paf file. However I made a mistake and listed the brother and wife of the correct ancestor right in the middle of the the parents and correct (children) ancestors. All I need to do is to remove the wrong brother and sister from the middle of the right ancestors. But when I try to remove them, they are replaced by "unknowns"Now I can't remove the Unknown Pair who don't belong there. If you can follow this...will be greatful for instructional advise. P.S. I am not very computer literate. thanx. Mary
