Hi Bill,
You are right. I quite misunderstood the slash idea. For some reason I don't remember having to use slashes on my last computer (XP) although the version of paf is the same and was exported to my Windows 7 by copying from my backup. A window would pop up and question my slashes and I thought I was making the right corrections. I had found the Tool>preferences>names page but still didn't catch on to what was needed.
Anyway, thanks for the prompt and accurate suggestion.
