Prohibited File Type Warning
Posted by: Don Brown (ID *****1020) Date: December 12, 2010 at 18:56:29

Received a warning message attached to and incoming email. It reads - "This message contains an attachment whose file type is considered dangerous. The file has been deactivated. Get Help." The warning is highlighted in a bright red background.

My OS is Windows 7 and I'm using Family Tree Maker 2011. The attachment is an FTM 2005 file and the sender is known to (and trusted by) me. I haven't tried to open the file in case it really is dangerous.

Can someone help me to sort out this problem?

Don
