manipulating desc tree

i want to create a top-bottom desc tree. my main ancestors are DL & EC. they divorced and both remarried.
DL & VB.........EC & LD.

now when i create the tree for DL descendants. Both his (DL) wives EC AND VB automatically show. but descendants of EC & LD do not.

is there a way to manipulate PAF Companion to include EC&LD descendants so to print all on one descendant tree?

to work around this....
I can create a pdf file of the first tree...DL
then create another pdf descendant file for LD.
then combine these to pdf files into one and have one file i can use for printing.

just not sure how the linking lines will show.
has anyone had this situation?
