With FTM-6 you have a choice of which program is to receive the GEDCOM file. If you select PAF for the ones going to the PAF program they will be imported much cleaner. (A lot less notes in the LST file. )
I tried importing a regular FTM-6 GEDCOM into PAF 4.03 and had a LST file several pages long, but when using the PAF export option it was less than one page. And all those "PRIVATES" seemed to import much better. Some of the 'privates' were the only family links that seemed to be lost the first try even, and not all of them then.
