Hi Lori,

Here are three work-arounds that may meet your needs.

1. In PAF, you can put "not married" in the marriage date field which will result in a statement like this in the book:

Rhett was not married to Cherie JONES .

2. In PAF, you can put "not married" in the marriage date field and "but lived together" in the place which will result in a statement like this in the book:

Rhett was not married to Cherie JONES at but lived together.

Doing a global search and replace in your word processor for " at but lived " would quickly turn this statement into:
"Rhett was not married to Cherie JONES but lived together."

3. In PAF, you can put c/l in the marriage date field which will result in a statement like this in the book:

Rhett married Cherie JONES c/l.

Then you can do a Search in your word processor for c/l which will bring up these instances so that you can edit the statement to say:

Rhett lived with Cherie JONES.

This work-around is practical if there are maybe 50 such instances, but becomes tedious if there are a lot of them.

With these three possibilities, I hope you can find something suitable.

Please let us know how things went.
