I have many Swedish names. In Swedish we have three extra letters AT THE END OF THE ALPHABET. Å, Ä, Ö. They come in that order after Z. When I sort all my Åbergs go to the beginning of the alphabet. My Österbergs are in with my Os.
Paf ignores the diacritical marks over the letters. I use a Swedish keyboard so I have no trouble entering the letters.
I hope to do some German research in the future and can think that there will be other different letters in my file.
Any suggestions would be welcome. This forum is great.
