PAF has the ability to generate the html files directly. Just click the Create webpage icon and follow the prompts. PAF generates the files and then offers you the chance to view them so that you can do any fine tuning before uploading them to your webserver.

To make sure that dates and places of living people (and names too if you wish) it might be advisable to export a gedcom file, create a new PAF file with a new name and import the gedcom file. It just takes a few minutes.

You can look at some examples on or (I have added other files to my websites, so I use the free WYSIWYG webpage authoring program Komposer for creating the additional pages.)

You might also want to look at the family tree generated on from an uploaded gedcom. It only took 10 minutes to sign up for free and upload a gedcom file.
This is less flexible than having your own wesite, but it is easy and attractive, and you still get a URL of your choice.
