Well, I've tried three different PAF programs on that computer and each one shows that I am entering the information incorrectly. I put in the date Jan 10, 1975 and the computer program says that that is not a standard date. There are no quotation marks anywhere on the entry. We can over-ride the dialogue box, but when we pull up the individual file all the dates are missing the first number in the year date. So we read 975 instead of 1975. I know that one of the PAF programs that I loaded up was from my PAF disk and it works fine on my computer. I am suspecting that the Operating system on this computer (My neighbors' computer) is somehow corrupt in it's reading of the program. She has an Windows XP Professional and my own operating system is just a regular Windows XP. I haven't heard anyone having problems with the PAF program on OS XP and so I am confused about it. I appreciate the comments and thoughts on this. The church support system doesn't have an answer. Maybe my neighbor needs a different type of computer to run the PAF program. Oh, we also defragmented her OS, which needed it badly, and also tried the Fix/ and Repair with the PAF and it didn't do anything. Well we'll just keep trying until we get some success.By the way who acutally set up the PAF program, I might be a solution if I could contact the original programmer, any thoughts on that? Many thanks for your help.
