Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I suspect you are putting the date in quotation marks. Try it without the quotes. Examples in Help files often show the data in quotes, so that you know specifically what characters are part of the data.

When you input your data, leave off the quotes.

Instead of: "6 Feb 1944"
Use: 6 Feb 1944

Let us know if that solves the problem.
