Bill - thanks so much for the information.I appreciate your offer to do a repair. However, I have managed to run the repair on my file, until it came up clean. However, this left several persons that are not now connected. So far this is a spouse.
Even with my file showing no errors, it still has errors, in that.when finding a spouse with children (?) of a family with consecutive RIN #'s, this group of children are attached to another family. My program will NOT let me unlink them - it freezes. The only way I can unlink is to delete the children - close the program and go back in and not use that same RIN again to re-enter them.
As far as I can tell, the RIN# in question were added after I had a crash and had to re-load a backup.
I plan on doing a GEDCOM when I have this problem all corrected and uninstalling PAF then re-installing it and loading it all from the GEDCOM instead of a backup.
I will check the site for the Insight and again, I appreciate your help.If you have any other thoughts, I would appreciate hearing them.I'm not too happy with PAF right now, but I also consider it may have had something to do with my computer.
Donna
