Maybe you can help me. I want to make sure I'm doing this
right before I convert.
I want to convert my PAF 4 files to my PAF5 files.
I went into the PAF 4 data and clicked on file open. The
screen Open Faily File comes up. I then wnet to search and found my PAF4 data. Clicked open and then got the
PAF file conversion. I then click continue and got the
screen and got Create New Family file. It has in the save
field 31/2 floppy. I changed that to read my computer, not
sure just what would go in this field. For file name do I
put C:\Program Files\FamilySearch\Paf5\Data\Wally Bak PAF5.paf
Not sure about this either. My PAF4 reads as C:\Program Files\Family Search\Paf4\Data\WALLY bak.paf
My PAF 5 reads the same only Paf5\Data\Wally Bak PAF5.paf
Am I right by opening the PAF4 when I am in PAF 5? This
is so confusing, and I for sure don't want to do it wrong.
