how can I add backed up PAF 5.2 files to a different PC ??

I bought the PAF 5.2 CD with companion last month, installed the PAF 5.2 program, and created one family file.
(1) I didn't install the companion CD because I didn't know what it was - should I install it? Is it ok to install the companion CD after I have created a PAF file? If so, how do I do it?
(2) Also, my PC hard drive and Win98 OS were destroyed by the YAMI virus last May. The "Geek Squad" loaded Win98 2edition when they "fixed" it instead of plain old Win98.
I have 9 different PAF 5.2 fAmily files saved to floppy disks that are not installed on this PC yet.
These files were created using a different template than the one I created when I installed PAF 5.2 on this PC.
How can I get these other PAF files onto this PC without losing any information?

Will someone take this scared old Grandma under their wing?
Kathye
