Additionally, be aware that the reason for the Family Group Report opening in MS Word 2000 is that you have "Print to File" checked in the lower right hand corner of the Reports and Charts Page.

This creates a Rich Text Format (RTF) file that will open automatically in MS Word. (Refer to Windows Help> and search for "File associations" for more info on that. Then leave everything as is.) <g>

"Print to File" does not necessarily have the same meaning in PAF 5 as it had in older versions.

also, although Paf 5.2.18 is much more stable than Paf 5.1.12, it may be possible to limp along with a direct printout (uncheck "Print to file") until a more convenient time for upgrading.
