Check/Repair can't fix this error
Posted by: Leslie Collier (ID *****4643) Date: October 07, 2004 at 16:11:12

I've run Check/Repair on my database a number of times today, and I continue to get the same error message and don't know what to do about it.

Here are the errors pasted in from the report generated:

"The next pointer record does not point back to this record (96665). Reset previous pointer of record 96664 to 96665. (FIXED)
The next pointer record does not point back to this record (96684). Reset previous pointer of record 96664 to 96684. (FIXED)"

But they're not fixed, because when I run Check/Repair again, I get the same message and am advised to restore from a clean backup --- which I don't have.

These are not RIN numbers, and I've no idea how to determine to what they refer to make a manual repair.

Can anyone explain?

Leslie
