I'm assuming that the RTF format just leaves placeholders for the pictures. If you open the RTF file in MS Word, you can do <alt> <F9> and see the code that points to the pictures. Pressing <alt> <F9> again, "hides" that code. It looks like the pictures would be printed when the RTF file was printed, but it isn't. If I "print" directly to my printer, the pictures are there. If I "print" to file, and THEN print, there are no pictures. The only way I've found to get a file WITH pictures is to create a PDF file by having PAF "print" to PDF995 - a free application that "acts" like a printer, but really creates a PDF file. The problem is that I don't have an application to EDIT PDF files. After I get one of those, I'll be in great shape.
