Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Jennifer, now that you have your "very own computer" you should upgrade to the latest version of PAF 5.

You can still retain your PAF 4 program if you wish, until you feel you are comfortable with the new version.

PAF 5 will "convert" your PAF 4 database, and during the conversion you can save this new converted database in a new folder under another name. You will still be able to use your current PAF 4 database in PAF 4 after the conversion (it will still be there).
