Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I assume your genealogy program supports the creation of a gedcom file. If so, the you can create a gedcom file from each computer, export it to a disk, then import the gedmom into the other computre as a new program.
You can use this same technique to seperate a database by using the "Select Names" from your databases, using "ancetors or "descendants". Again importing into new databases with new a new name.
You can email me at godseyr@knology.net if I can be of futher help or clarify.
