Printing Books WITH photos
Posted by: Deborah Atchley (ID *****9398) Date: August 17, 2003 at 16:57:34

I'm using Windows XP and have read the other posts about the created RTF file NOT showing pictures. If you play with the RTF file in MS Word and do the Alt-F9 trick, the pictures will show (you have to do that to EACH photo), but they don't show in the correct place. I'm assuming this is still a bug in PAF (I'm using the latest version of PAF).

I just used the PDF995 free software that "looks" like a printer to your system, but what happens is the output is sent to this software and a PDF file is created. This lets PAF write a book to a file WITH pictures in the correct positions.

I hope the above helps someone else too, but I have one more question. Do the CAPTIONS not print for books? Are the captions only used in the SCRAPBOOK format? The pictures in my book don't show the captions that I had typed in for them when adding the pictures to individuals.

Thanks for any help.
Debbie
